Bloom

Here is a little seed.

“I want to grow,” it said.

So it started, bit by bit.

The rain gave it a drink.

The sun helped it stretch up tall.

A small green leaf popped out.

More leaves came, and it grew taller.

Some days were dark and stormy.

The wind pushed hard, but it held on.

Under the ground, its roots grew strong.

Then a tiny pink bud showed up!

One morning, the first flower opened.

And up it kept growing.

Until at last — a big, beautiful tree in bloom!
